Mateo&Delia
Mateo was still trying to wrap his head around the fact that Delia was in Bareharbor, he had never thought this would be a reality. Being able to talk to her everyday online was one thing but actually being able to meet her had been something completely different. Over the time they had talked online Mateo had developed feelings for her and seeing her in person had only confirmed those feelings, though he wasn’t about to come out and say it just yet no matter how much he wanted to be more than friends with her. In fact if he was being honest he wouldn’t even know how to bring it up, how did you bring up something like that to someone who made you so nervous when you were close to them? It wasn’t a negative nervous either, it was more exciting.
Mateo didn’t know what had possessed him to show up on Delia’s, well her brother’s, front step but he was there and he hoped she would be home because he wanted to see her again. He knocked on the door before letting his hands slide into the pockets of his hoodie waiting for someone to answer and silently praying that Dimitri wasn’t the one to answer. He was relieved when the door opened and it wasn’t Dimitri, “hey I was wondering if maybe you wanted to hang out or something?”
