“Mmhmm, it is,” Charlotte replied and wrapped her legs around him at his urging. She grunted as he pushed her against the wall and moaned as the other two things happened simultaneously. Her hands moved to frame his face and she kissed him greedily. Her eyes met his at his question and she nodded eagerly. “It is, I need you,” she whispered before kissing him again, tightening her legs around him. 

Landon smiled as he began moving his hips so he could thrust inside her. He could remember the first time he had fucked her like this, it had been much more awkward than this but now they had it figured out. He knew where she needed to be positioned so he could make her feel good. He continued to kiss her, his tongue lightly running against her lips.

Atlas: Excited? yes. Nervous as all hell? Yes.

Lucia ducked her head and smiled, though she parted her long hair to shoot him a look, chuckling at herself. “I like to think so,” she agreed, clearing her throat, straightening back up. “I bet.” But she also guessed there were times that it was just hard all around. Nope, she could never do a job like that. “So, are we almost there? I feel like we’ve been in the car forever,” she remarked with a laugh, she was only joking, but she did have to wonder. 

Elijah gave her a smile as he looked at her, she brought him so much happiness. Just as she spoke Elijah turned the corner and pointed, “right there.” It didn’t take long and he was pulling into the parking lot and parking the car. “Stay right there.” Getting out he ran around to open the door for her and offered her his hand, if he had been taught one thing it was to treat a woman with the upmost respect and that meant opening doors for them.

“Uh huh,” Bethany teased, smiling. “I know. We have the best parents,” she remarked, sincerely, though a little chuckle escaped. She knew how cliche it sounded, but it was true all the same. “Sure, sure, that’s a real thing,” she agreed mockingly and laughed. Food arrived at some point and she started to eat. “So, how are the babies?” she asked, obviously meaning their pets. 

Trenton had always been lucky to have the family he had, their parents were amazing and he got along great with his sister. He’d seen so many of his friends fight constantly with their siblings but Bethany was an amazing girl and Trenton couldn’t even think about fighting constantly with her. “The babies are doing great. Irene spoils the crap out of them all the time but then again I do too though I’ll always deny it.”

“Tell you what, if he’s a boring potato, I’ll be sure to call you up and crash with you instead,” Zita replied with a light laugh. “Thanks,” she added and turned back around, letting her hair fall back around her shoulders. She raised an eyebrow at his comment. “You think, you never know until you ask. Have you ever actually talked to her? Want me to put in a good word for you?” she asked, mostly in jest, but she would do that for him. She knew he was a good one and would more easily talk to whoever the woman was. 

Grayson nodded his head slowly, “I’ll be here for when he turns out to be a boring potato.” He took a deep breath just trying to find the courage as he looked at her. He bit his bottom lip before the words slipped out, he shouldn’t have let them. He should have thought before he spoke but that was the thing with her, he didn’t think before he spoke. With other people he was able to think things through because he didn’t talk as much with anyone else but with Zita his words just seemed to flow. “You’d be talking to yourself.”

“You are so cheesy,” Harmony remarked affectionately. “I need some chips to go with it, just saying,” she added, realizing she was getting hungrier. Maybe they should get out and go eat that dinner he’d prepared. “I’ll google things and see what sort of availability there is and stuff.” A soft groan escaped and she closed her eyes for one more minute. “We should get out, eat, I’d hate for that dinner to be ruined.” 

Deacon beamed and nodded his head proudly, “I am the captain of the cheese team and you’re stuck with what you get.” Deacon loved that he could be himself and he didn’t have to worry about her judging him for his cheesy self, in fact she had been the only person who had ever seemed to enjoy it. “Sounds good.” He kissed the top of her head before he shifted a little and nodded his head, “it is a pretty delicious dinner.”

“Ha ha,” Chelsea replied sarcasitcally and smiled a bit. “Oh! That’s a good idea, it would. Want to pick me up?” she asked, since she preferred not to drive if she could help it. “Look at you, all sweet, but yeah. That’s a good idea. We can pick up some donuts or something, too,” she added and scooted her chair over to him and put her head on his shoulder. “This sucks,” she sighed, turning and hugging his arm. 

Sawyer nodded his head, “yeah I can pick you up.” Another nod of his head, “donuts and coffee is perfect for us to bring.” He tried to offer her a comforting smile though he knew there wasn’t much comfort that was going to be found in their situation, this was horrible. “I know and I’m sorry.” He turned his own body to be able to wrap the other arm around her, rubbing her back ever so slightly.

“Ugh, I don’t know,” Indiana groaned and rubbed her temples. “I will have to brainstorm and get back to you,” she said and glanced at the clock. “Are you free tomorrow at all? Maybe we both jot down some ideas and compare notes.” They didn’t have any time to waste, as far as she was concerned. “Are you serious? You think I’m blinded by bullshit? Wooooow. You must have all the others brainwashed then,” she replied sarcastically, resisting the urge to roll her eyes or reach over and flick his ear. What an absolute pain.

Asher nodded his head, “I’ll be free tomorrow to meet up so we can go over our notes and see where it gets us.” He knew this was going to be one of the most difficult assignments he ever did mainly because he knew getting her to agree with him on anything was going to be a feat within itself. One of his eyebrows moved to quirk up and he shook his head, “no they just see the real me and have better judgement than you do.”

Faith chewed on her upper lip and picked at the counter, needed to get the anxious energy out somehow. “I know,” she whispered, looking away. “I know,” she repeated and swallowed thickly, doing her best to suppress the tears that were threatening to fall. It wouldn’t be fair to start crying right now. “I- I messed up. I should’ve talked to you, I know, if I had, maybe things would be different?” But they’d never know now. “I’m so sorry. I know it’s too little, too late, but I mean it.” She kept her gaze averted, since she didn’t trust herself to keep the tears at bay.

Xavier shook his head again, he could see she was upset and no matter how hurt he was he wouldn’t put her through that in public. “Whatever Faith. When you’re ready to talk about it you know my number text me and we can meet up or something.” He had to get away himself, all the hurt was coming back and he had so much to say but she had been right this wasn’t the place to do it.

Delia nodded and got in the car, buckled up, and then flipped through all those pics on her phone. “I will hold you to it!” she called out, laughing at one of the blurry ones and showed him when he got in. “Here, this one is better. Look how cute we are,” she added and showed him the one where he kissed her. She smiled warmly and moved the phone back after he’d taken a look. That’s when she added some filters and things and went ahead and posted it online. Now to wait for the comments. She was giddy. 

Mateo got in and looked at the picture with a chuckle, “definitely display picture worthy.” He smiled when she changed the picture, “that one’s not too bad either.” He was curious what other people were going to say about it but he also didn’t care because he knew she made him happy and that was all that mattered to him. Well that and that he made her happy. He started the car and reached to take her hand leaving one hand on the steering wheel.

Odette had to chuckle a bit, since they were both thinking steak, but her amusement was rather short lived. She had wondered what he’d think about Bradford… whether or not he’d have a problem with him or what. “Well, I mean, now he’s like you were. One of my friends that I visited when I had… needs,” she murmured, not wanting to be like fuck buddies while in this classy place. She cleared her throat. “But there was a time, oh goodness, ten years ago now? When I was sure I was in love with him.” She paused, glancing at him. “I wasn’t,” she was quick to add. “It was infatuation. Nothing more than that and I did realize that eventually. Made a fool of myself a couple times, but…” she trailed off with a shrug, like, what can you do? “But- I also help him out with his research… and he does offer me suggestions and things with my own novels.” 

Talon could feel the jealousy growing, this was why he didn’t do feelings because it lead to other feelings. He hated how it felt, hated that he had to feel it. He bit his bottom lip and nodded his head a little, “does he still do all that stuff since you and I started dating?” He didn’t know why he asked it, didn’t know if he really wanted to hear what the answer was. He hated the guy and he had never even met him, yet there was a part of him that felt.... threatened? Talon wished he could turn off all feelings, make feelings go away. “What kind of research?” He knew there had to be jealousy laced into his voice because of how strongly he was feeling it.

“No ice,” Poppy repeated and chuckled a bit, since it was obvious she’d never made one before now. “Marshmallows,” she sang and dug around for those, and got out some chocolate syrup, dancing around the kitchen as she went. “Gasp! I would never touch you while you slept! How dare you accuse me of such a thing!” she said, pretending to sound scandalized. She did shoot Ariah a link, to show she was only playing around. She laughed. “What! Me! Take advantage of you? What do you take me for?” she demanded, putting her hand on her forehead, pretending to faint.

It was amusing to watch and listen to the two as they were all just messing around. No one really being serious, all just being in the moment. Although Ariah was still curious to what exactly it was Poppy was planning. “I think you’re starting to have everything.” Ariah teased poppy as she reached for some more fries, munching on them in the meanwhile. “I only said you have the opportunity, not that you would!” Holding her hands up in the air as if she was in the sight of cops, she couldn’t help but laugh. “I totally agree with Ace though. You’re the one who takes advantages here. Totally you. All you.”

Ace raised an eyebrow and shook his head, “don’t listen to her Ariah. She isn’t above touching people while they sleep trust me.” He let out a chuckle as he said it turning to give Poppy a look before turning back to Ariah. “See at least someone is on my side. Even someone else sees you’re the one who takes advantage here Poppy.” He smiled, clearly he was only kidding, this was the way he was with Poppy majority of the time, they joked around and had a good time.

“I try not to. It’s hard, but I really do try to not do it. It’s just… It’s so hard when it’s quiet all around me, and there’s no one awake. It’s easier when I can go sit at a cafe, or just go down to the docks and watch the boats. All of that is easier.” She couldn’t help it, she did love to watch the boats. Dreaming about maybe disappearing on one herself, moving out on the ocean, where no one could reach her. “Okay, I’ll pack it. But I don’t need to stay for more than a few hours, really.” She didn’t want to be a bother to him and Harmony. Not more than she already was anyways. “You think so? I thought so too. They’re a bit from a bad life, just like me, and they just need love and stability. And I might not be the most stable person, but at least I would love them?”

“I know and it’s not meant to be easy. If it was meant to be easy then life would be boring. We would have everyone who thought they were all high and mighty and we don’t want that. That all makes complete sense Quinn,” Deacon didn’t know how much he was helping but he was at least trying. “You can stay the night. You know you’re welcome to stay however long you need. I’m not going to limit your stay.” He wanted her to feel safe, wanted her to be able to sleep. “Maybe having a pet will help bring more stability to your own life. Pets can be just as good for humans as humans are for pets.”

“Yeah? My fridge is like half juice boxes, and then some food. Some laughs at it, but I think it’s good that you have pro juice boxes people living with you.” That was the sort of thing she approved of. People who liked juice boxes and saw the beauty in them. Especially when they had different flavors. Even though he was a stranger, Emma did hug him when he offered her one, hiding in his arms. She was a little, that was definitely clear to most anyone who knew of that lifestyle. “You would?” Emma asked, looking up at him. “You’d take me home to get juiceboxes, really?”

“My house didn’t use to have as many juice boxes as it does now. But when you’re the daddy of the house you need to make sure juice boxes are readily available.” He let the word slip to see her reaction, though judging from the vibe he was getting from her it wasn’t something he thought would phase her. He wrapped his arms around her to give her a hug, “I would take you home to get juice boxes.”

“Oh yeah? Maybe I will. Once you’ve fixed it.” She oculdn’t help but laugh. She was really just happy to be dealing with someone who was happy to laugh while working, much unlike her own work place. God, she didn’t like her co-workers much at all. Such sexist asses. Shaking his hand, she smiled to him. It wasn’t far into the hallway to get to the fuse box luckily, and she stepped away, giving him free access to it. “I guessed at first it was just a fuse that had gone bad, but I couldn’t find any, so, figured I’d call. Anyways, I’m going to sit in the living room right over there, typing in some documents, so just call if you need me, okay?”

Braxton gave a chuckle to match with her laugh, it was always nice to have someone who didn’t take everything too seriously. He’d worked too many jobs where the customer was nothing but serious and made for some draining hours. He opened the fuse box when they got there, “on first look it might not be the fuse box but I’m going to have to look closer to figure out for sure. If it’s not a fuse I’ll come get you so we can discuss further. Enjoy your document typing.” He offered her a smile before getting to work.
