Defense | Taeyeon&Chaerin
Classes passed in a blur. Sure, Chaerin liked her classes well enough to not complain, but they were all mundane classes that required little effort on her part. Other than memorizing a few facts, or homework assignments, there wasn't much to it. The only class she really excelled at and had an interest in was Defensive Tactics. Although she already had a good hold on her defensive magic and moves, this class gave her the chance to practice those skills. She almost felt like she was back home.
Chaerin let out a sigh as she left her Defensive Tactics class and walked outside. Home. Even though she never got to socialize with others, she still missed it. Her quiet duty was all she had known until now. Today she couldn't get her mind off of being home, even as she stood outside by the lake watching some rambunctious vampires socialize.
Were they from the academy? She hadn't seen them before. She mentally shrugged and turned away to walk away. Suddenly, one of the vampires came up behind her and she immediately let her defenses up. They definitely weren't from the academy, they were shabby. Everyone from the academy were aware of their appearances. This vampire was out for blood.
Chaerin effortlessly maneuvered away from the vampire, putting up a powerful forcefield between the two when she was far enough. The vampire tried to get through multiple times before finally glowering at her and left with her snarling companion.
Chaerin blew the bangs from her eyes as she warily let the forcefield come down. "Chaerin!" she heard a familiar female voice call as she looked around.
