Pancakes and Pirate Coats // Tigra & Cat
Tigra walked away in search of the small stash of money that they kept hidden in case of emergencies, or just for times like this when they wanted decent food. She hoped that they had enough so that they could all eat their fill for once, although it was probably a useless hope, especially with the sort of luck that seemed to follow them around. It was something worth keeping up though, she supposed.
Grabbing the money, she returned to where Cat stood waiting for her. Amazingly she was actually looking forward to their venture to the store and spending more time with the other girl. Despite being with each other almost exclusively all the time, members of the Flock tended to stick to certain people. In her case, she mostly was around Tobi and Whisp. Maybe this was a chance for her to be social.
"I hope you weren't planning on flying there," she said with a soft laugh when she reached the girl, trying to keep her voice down for the sake of the sleeping people on the ground. "No wings here, unfortunately," she said shrugging, the tip of her tail lifting in sync with her shoulders. Sometimes she envied her and some of the other's ability to fly, but then she reminded herself that she was most comfortable with her feet on something solid, even when she was up high. It was probably for the best that she didn't have wings.
