I'd like to introduce you to my magical girl (aka mage) OC named Amber! I've been fleshing out supporting/secondary characters in my story, and Amber is one of the first I've worked on.

Amber is part of a team with Sofia, a veteran magical girl who took her under her wing. Also on the team is Arya (yet to be drawn/introduced), whom Amber has a close but oftentimes adversarial relationship. Basically, Arya is a tsundere who is too stubborn and clueless to admit to Amber that she has feelings for her, lol.

I modeled Amber's appearance, personality, and powers off of Kaede Akino from Magia Record. I went even heavier in on the "autumn witch" theme though, and my Amber is more assertive and playful than Kaede (who is canonically described as a "worrywart."). Amber does have a serious side to her, though, and she wants nothing more than to be as confident and aspirational as her beloved mentor Sofia.

As for powers: Amber has control over plants!

still thinking about that time i wrote a self-insert gravity falls fanfiction in my notes app when i was 12, that was basically every episode of Gravity Falls but with me in there and shipping myself with human!Bill Cipher and trying to stay as close to canon as possible (while s2 was coming out) and having a whole "look at me, this isn't you" plot which eventually led to Bill redeeming himself or whatever and being One Of The Good Guys and then having my self-insert age up so it's less weird when we started dating and then by the end we had our First Kiss™ and as a little christian girl I was sitting there thinking to myself "Omg I hope this isn't going too fast, I mean, premarital kissing and hand holding that's just scandelous"

Unfortunately this "Book" will be forever lost to time since my 1st ever therapist told me it was a "Bad Coping Mechanism" and shamed me into deleting it fuck that guy in particular
