@taylorpath:
One of the total perks of being a telepath was the feeling of satisfaction Taylor got whenever somebody thought nice things about hers. Sure, it could go the complete other way and make her feel like shit but this wasnât one of those occasions. As soon as Leila pulled back from the liplock that Taylor had pulled her into, Taylor flopped back on her bed and snickered, pulling out her phone and unlocking it as the other girl talked. âI- wait, you kissed Will too? Donât tell me the pool trick actually worked on you, Lei.â If Taylor was being honest here - which, in all fairness, she usually wasnât - she didnât really pay attention to what Leila was thinking during the kiss, but took the opportunity to peak into her head only to widen her eyes and sit back up. âYou got down and dirty withBrennan? I guess Christmas came early, âcause you, my love, my life, are totally ho-ho-hoeing it up.â Taylor joked, mentally self-fiving herself for the pun.
âOh my God, Tay!â Leila shrieked, although if she was trying to look outraged, she did a miserable job of it. Her face was blushing furiously; she hadnât really talked about the Will or Brennan things with anybody else yet, but she figured if anyone was going to understand and be totally non-judgy about it, it would be Taylor... and even if she did want to be judgy, sheâd find it out anyway, so no point bottling it up. âI think Iâm okay with being on Santaâs naughty list this year, because it was actually pretty fun -- especially considering I bailed before I had to reciprocate,â Leila informed the other girl with a giggle. âAs for the Will stuff, though... Uh, thatâs a little more complicated.â Her grin disappeared a little as she folded her hands in her lap. âHe kissed me in the pool, but he also sort of didnât? I freaked and rewinded it.â Then, the other part of Taylorâs sentence registered with her, and her mouth gaped open for a second before she added, âWait, too? Did you kiss him?!â
