Okay but really, he'd be SUPER awkward and might try to break the silence with a joke if he generally liked the person and was just avoiding them due to a Situation. If he didn't like them? Stone cold silence. Ignoring them. They Do Not Exist. 'Oh huh that's weird must've been the wind i heard'

7: I haven't the faintest idea what id yell to get raphs attention, but Odette and her have a few musical duets they use as a marco-polo call and response thing to find each other in a crowd. My brain is fried rn or id think of an example

33/34: ooooo hmmm. Overly formal if she hates them, full names/no nicknames, no silliness. Kinda cold. If she merely Dislikes them, she's still a little chiller than she otherwise would be, but she tries not to let her personal feeling affect how she treats others (unless theres a Reason (oo girl she was Narsty to oliver after he started pulling shit with gidget)). If she likes them? Nickname central baby. The cheesier the better. Doting and clingy as hell in greeting. Just try and get this flypaper woman off you, I dare you

Something I’ve talked about in private but not, I think, on tumblr, is how there is no confirmed reason why the Narrator got stuck looping through the worst Parables.

He has theories. He wonders. But the truth is he doesn’t know why this happened, or how. And he never will.

Because the truth is it doesn’t matter, not really. What matters is what the Narrator chose to do about it.

(For this curious, Stanley B isn’t your basic Stanley from TSP. His Parable got…. Well, a little more intense. This isn’t your mom’s TSP. He has a good reason for relating to someone like the Princess.)
