How do a Lilith in Scorpio and a Lilith in Leo get along? Also, would you say that a couple has a better shot at love if one of their moon sign is conjunct (same sign) to the others sun sign? Regardless if both sun signs don't have the best compatibility? Thanks! :)
I think it would depend heavily on the rest of their chart.
Conjunction means that they’re 0 degrees from one another. Since each sign is 30 degrees, it’s possible to have them be in the same sign without being in conjunct.
I think that having one person’s moon conjunct the other person’s sun, or even in the same sign, would be beneficial, but would be more so if they were in different signs of the same triplicity.
I prefer not to look at Synastry like this. You have so many factors to consider, and Synastry almost makes them all independent, when they’re really one big work of art blending together.
I’ll use my husband and myself as an example.
If you do our Synastry, you’d see:Sun Square Sun,Mercury Square Mercury,Mercury Sextile Jupiter,Venus Sextile Uranus,Venus Sextile Neptune,Mars Trine Venus,Jupiter Sextile Mars,Uranus Opposition Mars,Uranus Square Jupiter,Neptune Square Venus,and so on.
As you can see, lots of those spell conflict. Lots of Squares and Oppositions.
If you do what I call linear compatibility, you’d look at: Sun Aries x Sun Capricorn, Moon Pisces x Moon Leo, Mercury Pisces x Mercury Sagittarius, Venus Aries x Venus Scorpio, Mars Cancer x Mars Sagittarius, and so on.
As you can see, a lot of those are considered “incompatible” or are otherwise difficult.
However, looking at each individual aspect doesn’t give the full picture. Just like looking at one individual aspect in yourself doesn’t give the full picture of how you are.
While many of the above spell turmoil in my relationship, it’s actually quite harmonious. Sure, we have some miscommunications and our share of fights, a lot of the issues foreseen by the above don’t come into play at all.
When I do my compatibility reports, I do look at the above. In addition to the full pictures.
I look at the blend of my Sun and Moon, and then my Husband’s, and see how they would interact. I look at the Venus and Mars, and how they would be when compared the each person’s respective Sun Sign.
I feel as though looking at the full picture, and the blending of all the inner aspects and planets, gives a better look at compatibility than each individual aspect.
So in that sense: Even if the Sun Signs are considered “incompatible” there are many aspects within each of their charts that could make it better, or worse. :)
I wrote way too much, didn’t I? xD
