Takayama is 14 at this point in the story, but that is subject to change.

I’m surprised the others hadn’t grilled Takayama about the Black Out by the chapter I’ve gotten to. But maybe they were asking (more screech flailing on Karasuma’s side, pfft) about Black Out in general rather than Takayama’s first encounter? Or Takayama was just *shrug* ‘I only know they come every ten days and the wings want them destroyed.’ 

*more musing* It’s a good thing they’ve got an experienced member to fight, but sudden stronger antagonists means they should also be working on their teamwork.

                   There's a fair amount of variety in the world, actually. Like, there's a guy we see later who's got only lightly pointed ears, so they're covered by his hair (iirc), and there's some winged people with round ears. I guess since people do come in all shapes, they're willing to pass it off as "some weird tribe we've never seen before"?                

The way it looks like at the moment, it seems like everyone around them has the big fluffy ears or they pointed ones and they’re so far our other people don’t tend to come passing by that often? So in the very least at least a double-take of ‘we really don’t see that around here’, but that might be me overthinking it, haha.
