Magic lessons

Merrick was in her earthly home, getting ready for the coming day. She invited Lonan over to assess his progress and to teach him a thing or two. She didn't spend much time anymore in the large and somewhat grim looking mansion and it showed. The roses and decorative plants in the gardens were slowly starting to take over and dust and cobwebs started to collect inside. She sighed at the sight of it all and looked out the window for Lonan, wondering when he'd arrive.

Eventually she decided to wait outside and sat down in a chair in her garden, looking at the property's gates.

Two demons meet

Merrick walked through the quieter streets of a city, her long coat flowing behind her, sheltering her and her unborn child from the cold. Her hat held low to conceal her nature as she was in no mood to put up any form of disguise. The demoness walked so that she could empty her mind for a while. Ever since she started carrying that child, she has been haunted by memories, most of them of the unpleasant kind. Merrick attempted to let those thoughts flow away when she suddenly noticed someone in the distance.
