Hey, you! Innocent bystander!
A Kia Optima suddenly comes skidding across an empty intersection, and a thrilled shout erupts from the driver, “Whooo! Yeah!” He steps on the gas and speeds down a street. Music blasting from the speakers as it bounces off the houses that the car zooms by. A police car soon follows suit, chasing the crazed driver with it’s siren on loud. Max looks in his rear view mirror, “I’ve missed this.” He chuckled and turns abruptly on a road to the right, trying to loose the officer. “Yeah! Take that!” He yells back, shoving his hand out the window and giving the finger as he flies around another corner. He’s laughing all the while he drives before he tries the breaks, and they stick. “Shit!” He car stares full speed ahead, he tries the breaks continuously, to stop himself. As there’s almost no more road left the breaks kick in, magically. But not before heading straight for a pole. The airbags bust out, as the car crashes harshly. The damage wasn’t too bad as he had a gash on his forehead, but he’s been through worse. He kicks open the door with a thud. “God.. dammit.” He mumbles touching his fingers to his head, and seeing blood smeared upon his fingertips. The cop slows down in the distance, Max turns fast to see if he had seen him yet. Before bolting into a run. The cop gets out of his vehicle and goes on foot, after seeing the driver was no where in sight of the car. Max looks behind him to see if the officer knows where he went before bumping into someone. “Hide me!” He pleads as he pulls the boys body to cover him in the shadows.
