pareidolia - seeing patterns in random data. Some common examples are seeing a likeness of Jesus in the clouds or an image of a man on the surface of the moon. My mom and I occassionally entertain ourselves looking at shapes in tile and wood. We could pick out interesting shapes and characters and come up with stories for them. It was fun! For this one, she was in the living room where she found this, telling me it looked like Hades from my Masks story, though here he is aged up quite a bit. It was very strange to see! And more so that this is fairly symmetrical for the complicated horns on his head. In the background, there is smoke and fire, and people standing on building tops.
