The first day of school was always awkward for Jayden, especially when it came to finding a seat in the 'welcome back' assembly. The auditorium was full of kids running up to their old friends, catching up on what they've done during the summer, stuff like that. Even though Jayden can be an out-going person, ironically, he didn't have many friends. He didn't care, mostly because he's learn that sometimes you're simply better off alone. Passing through the rows, he finally found an open seat near the back. He was probably going to nap during this, so where he sat didn't matter. He noticed sat on the seat beside it, so it seems appropriate to ask, "Um-- is anyone sitting here?"
