I'm super confused on *how* to watch it when it releases. Are any of the websites linked on the hetalia website free to watch or is there a paywall on all of them? (I know most steaming sites have a paywall)
For those that didn’t know, Andy added this note on our page for the new season a few days ago:
In Japan, the series is slated to stream on U-NEXT, Anime Hodai, Docomo Anime Store, ABEMA, Hikari TV, dTV, VideoMarket, J:COM TV, TELASA, milplus, Fuji TV on Demand, Hulu, Bandai Channel, GYAO!, Nicovideo, music.jp, DMM.com, Rakuten TV, Happy! Douga, TSUTAYA TV, and Movie Full+. I’m not familiar with most of these sites with the exception of Nicovideo and I don’t think it will be under a paywall there. However all of the sites listed will likely only be accessible to those in Japan so a VPN will be needed to watch. There hasn’t been any news of Funi licensing the new season yet but they did simulcast the previous season. Their announcement was very close to the start of World Twinkle’s launch so the same thing could possibly happen here too.
