Chocolate Frogs & Sugar Quills || Peter & Violetta
Despite the day being cold, Violetta was in, what she would call, a decent mood. Even with James' assery and finding out her innocent best friend wasn't so innocent. None of that mattered after she'd gotten asked out. Never did she think it would happen. Not that she thought about boys very often, to be honest. Relationships and the idea of spending all your time with one person, who you'd probably end up breaking up with anyways, didn't interest her. Throughout her six years here so far, she'd seen couples break up, hearts break, tears and running mascara. Not to mention, when you don't talk, you hear everything. Boys who had two girls, and girls who'd snogged so and so in the broom closet and couldn't tell her boyfriend. It all disgusted Violetta. Then there was her dad, and the fact that no grades less than perfect were acceptable and if she had a boyfriend that would take from studying. So, dating? Boyfriends? No way. Not in Vi's life.
And all that held very true, until a an hour earlier when she got asked out by one of the cutest, most adorable guys she'd ever met and found herself a stuttering, blushing, embarrassing mess of a teenage girl. What had she been thinking? She didn't know anything about boys. She hadn't even known his god-forsaken name until she described him to Em and she'd told her. As she walked down a street in Hogsmeade, she found herself getting sick with worry. Not even the worrry she felt on days with a test. Just this general, panicky, bats-in-my-tummy feeling. 'I'm going to make a total nonce out of myself, I just know it.' she thought. For comfort, she pulled her cloak around her tighter, suddenly feeling a little chillier.
However, Peter'd seemed so nice, so part of her thought there was no way he'd think she was a fool. The thought of their earlier conversation, and simply thinking about his adorable face, made a silly-stupid grin pull on her lips. "Well, it couldn't be that bad. And what was to lose? She had to go to Honey Dukes anyways, might as well have the company of a really cute and sweet guy, right?" She murmured softly to herself as she walked. She took a deep breath to calm her mind and racing heart, and in came the sweet smell of one of her favorite shops.
"I wonder if he's here.." she murmured as she glanced around before spotting what she figured was the back of head. Same color hair, posture and skeletal structure. Nibbling on her lip, with a slightly mischievous oriented smile, she stepped behind him and pressed her hands to his eyes.
