As soon as Ryan was brought to the suite, Maddox had him go into the slave shower and scrub himself well while Maddox got on the intranet, ordering up some things he didn’t want to deal with, like cut up fruit bowls with a fluffed, thick cream to dip them in and cinnamon roll inspired pancakes, which were delivered by the time Ryan got out. “Oh good, you’re just in time for breakfast, darling. There’s some sweat pants on the back of the couch there, you can throw them on for this.”

It felt rare, apart from his last rental, for Maddox to not go straight into sex, but after he had had Ryan shower thoroughly after getting here and feeding the boy, he decided to settle down on his couch, his eyes lingering over him as he finished washing the dishes he’d used, as commanded. “Come over and sit by my feet.” He waved him over, wetting his lips. “I want to hear some of these fictional stories about real people you were telling me about. Who knows, might even give me an idea for real life.” He quirked a brow.
