James was staring at the door that was in front of him. All he could hear was his father's words over and over..."Leah, is pregnant. Fix it." When his father said something you had to do it. No questions asked. He was contemplating what he was going to say to her. Ask for her hand in marriage?, ask her to get rid of the baby?, tell her that he didn't want to be a father and was going to leave her with the responsibility?, he didn't like any option. He was so sure he had used a condom... how could she have gotten pregnant? Condoms did break but seriously? One night and you get a girl pregnant.
Finally getting enough courage he knocked on the door. He was waiting for Leah to open the door. Once she did he just walked right passed her and sat on her bed. Staring up at her, he was about to speak but couldn't find the words. Instead he looked down at his hands, then back up at her. " I know your pregnant." he said. Standing up he walked over to her and gave her a hug.
