          It’s been a little while since they weren’t partnered up on a mission, but the one Saburo had been on was difficult, to say the least. It’s why he’s in such an odd mood. One of those awful, almost manic moods that only serve as a precursor to an equally awful break down. He needs to wash his face; the left side is still covered in dried blood and the damaged eye has a hazy, glazed over sheen. Whether he can see out of it is--uncertain.

With a baby in one arm and a stack of paperwork that needed to be finished in the other, Kurenai was-- a sight to behold, to say the least. Upon completing a demanding mission that had had need of her genjutsu-repression techniques, she had picked Mirai up from the Nara clan’s property ( bless that clan’s matriarch for being willing to play both babysitter and grandmother ) and made way for home. She suspected she still stunk like ‘three-day long mission’. Though not looking for it, her eyes settled on a familiar face as soon as it fell into her line of vision. Blinking twice, her mind supplied, ‘ It’s Shino, ’       Before her tired, conscious thoughts caught up. 

“ Oh-- Shino, ”       She spoke with a start, as if by instinct, and belatedly offered a smile. Kurenai’s mouth was open to continue the greeting, but then Mirai began to kick up a fuss. “ ...gods, I’m sorry. She hasn’t been home in a few days. ”

@paraxyt / @voltiers | God bless Ash for bringing my fav bug boy to life as well as giving life to the two brothers on their other blog. You’re Shino is an absolute joy to me and tons of others, for sure ! Everything he does is exactly how I can see him doing it / saying it, yet you also give him a good twist that doesn’t really deviate from canon but also doesn’t completely put him down like canon tends to do sometimes ( esp. lately with Boruto rip ) He’s smart and confident because he knows he is smart and he’s also caring of his teammates and friends but so sassy and full of wit that makes me want to cry with happiness ;;

@fleurfume / @sunkissedseraph | I hope it’s okay to put you here, even though I know you are trying to move away from the Naruto-knit fandom, but I had to include you, Itsu. You’re always an absolute doll and a pleasure to speak to and I love seeing your portrayal of Sakura included in her many alternate verses you’ve created for her and allowing me to see her in ways I never thought of because of it!! I’ll always love seeing you in my IM’s or on my dash and you’re writing is soo beautiful it’s almost a sin. I’m so envious of how well you can write in such a strong presence ~

@ketsuekki | 14 !!! IS !! A ! BAE !!!! I seem to have this repeated process where Abi and another character meet and totally hate each other and yet?? can’t stay away from each other??? Aside from this, Minami is such a uniquely contrasting muse as a whole and her story is so provoking in a way that makes you think “ ooh a villain who does shit just because they can / want to “ & yet we also see tons of contradiction in Minami herself with her past and the decisions she’s made and honestly it just makes her the type of character you’ll never truly figure out even if you think you’ve dissected her enough which makes her so cool.

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Shino is a totally undermined character who deserves so much more love because he really is sweet and caring and also very funny and anyone who thinks he is just some weirdo with bugs is only a quarter right ( sorry bug babe ) because he is so much more !!! Furthermore, I honestly adore Squad 8 as a whole because they grow so much?? Shino can smile and make jokes around them and Kiba genuinely appreciates and respects him and his abilities like ;;; How they play them: First of all, now that I’ve mentioned the above, let’s talk about how he’s portrayed by Ash which, in a word, is perfectly. Shino can also be a tricky character due to his stature and emotions that are seen as stoic, yet could also be really caring for close friends, etc, and it’s all very carefully planned by Ash which is amazing. To be honest, I spied on Ash’s blog  a long time ago when I rebooted this blog but was way too shy and intimidated by the coolness and it’s always just been amazing, let me tell you. The Mun: I haven’t really gotten to talk too much with Ash outside of rp but already seems super sweet and nice and friendly.

RP with them: I have one thread currently, journeying into the depths of Suna’s deserts in search of rare beetles which is always fun ~Want to RP with them:  Absolutely! I look forward to getting to know Ash more along with their portrayal of my fav bug boy in the future and am always down !!

Overall Opinion: A beautiful bug, I mean Shino Aburame, and totally worth all the bees, I mean followers and love ;;;
