I went with the Shadowscapes tarot as it’s my go-to deck, but I wanted to bring clarity to the message with a card from the Secret Language of Animals oracle cards. This spread is from the Shadowscapes companion book and it’s called ‘Message from the Universe’ but originally the spread calls to put the cards in a pillar and rearranging them like this made so much more sense to me.Â
A message for your body: The Magician
See this card next to The World? We’ll get to the World in a minute but for now you need to know that it represents your mind. Look at the similarities between the cards: the headpieces, modest in the Magician but glowing golden on the world, and the little green orb the Magician is holding compared to the big green ball the World holds so close. Your body is a resource for the well-being and improvement of your mind, so use it. Go for a walk and pay attention to what you see, learn self-discipline by keeping up a healthy habit. Realize that you need to nurture your body to keep your mind growing too.Â
A message for your mind: The World
The World is the last card in the major arcana. It brings messages of completion, wholeness, acceptance. Focus is what’s need of your mind on whatever adventure is next for you. Fear speaks of your heart, and a fear of becoming too distant from those you love. Action tells you to keep your body in shape for the sake of your mind. At times you feel daunted, but you are a shark and you have all the power you need to keep your life vibrant and balanced.Â
