Dad!Andrew wouldn’t be able to say no to his little toddler when she (still in a kind of baby talk, but since he hears her speak like that every day he knows what she’s trying to tell him) asks if they can make cookies right when she’s supposed to go to bed :( And then ofc bc she’s tried she’d fall asleep in his arm while they’re getting the ingredients together but Andrew being Andrew would put her to bed and then bake the cookies himself so they’re ready for her when she wakes up :( don’t even….i’m down bad
Literally sounds like Andrew. Without a doubt.
“Daddy cookies?” and that’s how your daughter has her finger wrapped around him, she knows it and he knows it as well. He would instantaneously cave in. Usually he would hid those things from you. Like baking cookies with your child at like 11pm cause you would simply ✨rip his head off✨.
“Don’t tell mama.”, Andrew’s catchphrase ever since your offspring entered the world.
The next morning as you strolled into the kitchen you noticed the batch of cookies. Watching your daughter stuffing those in to her mouth to the brim while Andrew got ready in the bathroom, door wide open so he could keep an eye on her while she munches on her breakfast.
“When did you make these, buba?”, you hummed as you brushed her bouncy curls out of her face.
You went to bed when you noticed the big fuss your daughter caused as Andrew tried to put her down for her sleep.
“Daddy and I made them when you were-“
“No we did not!”, Andrew in a flash interrupted the unvarnished truth your daughter was about to spill.
Andrew would do everything to keep his daughter content.
