This was the address, wasn’t it? It was strange, this situation. She had woken up the previous morning, completely alone. Weren’t Dave and her baby- their baby- meant to be there?
Having taken the first flight she could to Japan, she was finally at his door. With a sigh, she was lucky she had no bodyguards or an entire army with her. The kingdom had gone into a panic, what if there was a kidnapping?
Murder?
Sonia took a step up to the door, wrapping on it as hard as she could to make sure he could hear her.
“Dave!” she called out as she banged the door with all her might. “What are you doing?”
She prayed he was in there, anyway.
