Day 2 (Sunday) of LET’S CHANGE ALL THE THINGS We went to church this morning and then I came home a took a nap... yepppp. My eyes would not stay open! Around 1:30 the work started up again full force with laying a few rows of the vinyl tile in the kitchen and then finishing the tear out of the kitchen floors. We had a layer of tile, then underlayment, then a layer of peel and stick tile with underlayment, then we had the original GLORIOUS linoleum with luan underlayment and then finally our subfloor.... woof. We also came to the conclusion that this house must have been built right around the time that automatic staplers became...like- a thing. Because the staples in the underlayment were crazy!! The majority of our day was spent pulling out way more staples than was necessary 😂 Junie doesn’t like loud noises and we were definitely not quiet... We did take a few breaks for some delicious day old bread, to cuddle Junie, and to smell my grandma’s BEAUTIFUL IRIS which have bloomed gloriously by the mailbox.
