Which Generation Gets Parenting Right?
The "Controversial" Parenting Survey;
Co-Sleeping: Jack and I still co-sleep at night, but he naps in his crib during the day.
Spanking: Never.
Breast vs. Bottle: Jack has had formula since birth, but recently switched him to half whole milk(3.25%fat) and half of his transition formula
Baby Wearing: Only until Jack was 6 months old, I then encouraged him to play on the floor a lot more. Cry It Out Method: Very rarely. When I do I check on him every two minutes, and if he doesn't calm down within a ten minute span I let him fall asleep while I cradle him.
Circumcision: Never. Pro-life vs. Pro-choice: Pro-choice
Adoption: Whatever parents feel is right for their baby is fine with me.
Baby Piercing: Never, boy or girl.
Home vs. Public vs. Private vs. Charter Schooling: Jack will likely go to public school, but I am aiming to move to a smaller town before he starts school.
Vaccinations: Yes, but I will not give him annual flu shots. Cloth vs. Disposable Diapering: Cloth, but Jack will us disposables when in my parents or fathers care and sometimes at night.
Home Birth vs. Hospital Birth: I birthed Jack in a hospital. However, I am interested in having a home birth for any future children. I would still have to look into it further.
