My abstract review of this eerie and beautiful perfume by Zoologist Perfumes (All images are my own). This is the perfect autumn scent for my fellow spooky femmes. It is the personification of dusty Attics, sacred rituals, winding paths, and cosmic dread--Moth is an intense journey into the dark forest of the inhuman pysche. It's a doorway to the mystic "otherness" hidden in nature.

Love is a budding flower tickling your nose— a little green, the bud still waiting to come to a full bloom. Love is a fresh hand squeezed lemonade on a sunny spring day, but when you lick your lips, you can taste your lipgloss subtly sugaring the tang of the bright citrus.

So a few weeks ago a decided that now is the time to learn about fragrance and perfume, and I spent a lovely few days dispersed throughout those weeks smelling all kinds of perfumes at different local shops in Rome. Very fun!! I took lots of notes in my parfumo account of things I liked, things I knew I loved, things I wasn't sure about, and things I was curious about after doing some reading (this interview in particular was really interesting). I just went to follow up on and organize said notes a bit further and idly looked up one of the scents I'd liked best. Lo, it is $440 for a 100ml bottle.
