I'm a firm believer that the real Simms is mentally ill. Her clone spiralling so hard feels like some sort of window into the real one's thought processes, and how easily she is able to spiral until she can barely hold on. I believe all the clones show big pieces of how the originals are.

The clip at the end of the game - of the real Simms. It shows a COMPLETELY different person compared to what the others describe her as. Her eyes look very very dead and hollow. Poor girl is literally suffering, and she definitely can't ask for much help because Williams seems like the type to just have the doctors medicate her with no actual therapy, just so it doesn't take her away from her job.

I love the expression on the original Simms' face in the ending. The disgust and resentment for Corinth, for herself, for what she's doomed her clones to. Having to watch herself be human, live her life, recording messages for a mom that will never even see them, never even care, because she has her Pari with her on Earth. Having to watch these versions of herself meet the most horrible fates, knowing that she's the one who signed them to it and that it'll just keep going.....
