Paris XY is a  Leeds X Hull duo concocting dazzling dirges of haunting vocals from Alice Smith and bewitching synths from James Orvis. Wytching Hour, their 7th single to be released is dark decadent force of sound and nature that needs to be heard.  Have a listen to this track on Soundcloud and purchase from their Bandcamp. A debut LP is being prepped for 2015 so that is something that I am excited for!

I barricade myself, so the world can’t see but as night comes I shrowd myself, in my own company. The city moves as on a stage, while audience lie silent. On sleepless nights watch moonlight fight, to battle daylight’s violence. Complexity deprives me, confined to solitary, mind has gone but I walk on, into waking scenes. The prologue set all in your head… hallucinating others. This world sublime, so let’s aim high, seduction from the author. I’m dreaming, I’m dreaming, the nightmare world behind your mind. I’m dreaming, only dreaming from the pills we take to normalise.
