Griffin wandered around the small outside pastry shop with his pastry in hand, ambling around aimlessly hoping to find an empty table for him to sit at. Unfortunately, he had come at the shop’s busiest hour, rendering any and all tables full. Forced to sit down with someone else, he gazed around until he found one person who looked rather lonely at their seat. “Mind if I join you?”

Dans l'air, un certain équilibre-” She paused briefly, noting the confusion and deciding to switch to English in case that, and not her odd remark, was the issue. “--A harmony, interwoven throughout nature and the atmopshere. Maybe it’s just the lovely weather and beautiful scenery giving me such a feeling, but it makes me feel quite serene.”

“Vous n'auriez pas besoin d'un bouquet de roses, voulez-vous?” the Brit inquired of the passerby, smiling a bit uncomfortably before glancing down at the bouquet in her hands. “A random man gave them to me, I think he had his heart broken and he didn’t know what else to do with them. I don’t want to throw them away because they’re so lovely, but I also feel like everyone is staring at me and it’s a bit unnerving.”
