He nods in confirmation and she nods back,
"You're right. I did a really great job today.."
"True, you really did", he affirms.
"I did a great job, didn't I?"
"You did. The very very best", he confirms.
"Now you're being like a real big brother”, she responds. "When you were my brother, I was so happy. Now the five days are nearly up and it'll all be over. On that day, I guess I won't be able to say goodbye to you, so I'll do it now. I've felt guilty towards you. And grateful towards you. I wish you ... all the very best."
His reply acknowledges and expresses the same thing, where the resolve and the gesture are poignantly at odds, "Let's never meet again."
She nods.
"Never ever..”
His face comes closer to her, she closes her eyes, and then he kisses her...
