This was inspired by seeing more awesome Keith art.
While Parlex thinks that Keith’s skin reminds him of the color of tree bark, his ears are small and funny looking. He doesn’t have a lot of markings compared to some species. He also doesn’t look like a warrior because he’s so stringy and short. Though, he’s seen short species before, Parlex is simply used to Galra being the species considered the strongest and most powerful. Therefore he compares other species to Galra when trying to determine if they are strong or powerful.
Plus, Keith’s skin looks too soft compared to something like the Balmerans or another species whose skin would be suited for harsher, brutal climates.
It’s the black floofy hair Parlex does find fascinating, he’s just not sure if it’s shiny because it’s got some kind of waxy secreted substance on it, or if it’s naturally shiny. One of these days he’s just going to grab a handful of it and check it out, regardless of what Keith says.
