does shiro tell dad jokes?

like with puns, he pretends to not like dad jokes and will typically roll his eyes or sigh when someone tells one. ...unless it’s him. YES, shiro absolutely tells dad jokes, and he gets a really dumb sort of glee out of it when he gets those usual responses of grumbled ‘oh my god’s or ‘i hate you’s. that’s the part that makes the jokes so funny to him. 

...also, he also kind of just genuinely finds dad jokes, bad jokes, and puns funny in their own right.

he doesn’t dad joke at just ANYONE, though. it’s only with people he’s really close with and feels comfortable harassing playfully. generally, this means all of the younger siblings he adopts will inevitably hear their fair share of dad jokes from him.

             ‘     nagisa - chan,   i   hope   you   are   aware   that   you   have   a   standing   invitation   to   my   home   so   there   is   never   any   need   to   fear   that   your   company   is   unwanted.    ’

        honey   spools  in    thick   swirls   as   it   pools   in   the   bottom   of   the   glass   china,   hand - painted flowers   glistening   on   the   porcelain   edge   from   the   dimmed   kitchen   lights.   to   say   the   weather   was   mildly   concerning   was   an   understatement.     the   wind   howled   in   billowing   roars   that   shook   the   foundations   of   towering   buildings   &   the   rain   came   in   cascades   like   grand   waterfalls   had   opened   up   from   the   heavy,   dark   clouds.

          a   memory,    long   ago   &   foggy   gave   her   this   apprehension   that   swallowed   her   in   tremendous   anxiety.   swallowed   her   feathery   soul   &   feasted   on   the   dregs   of   hope   that   refused   to   falter.   perhaps   it   was   a   childhood   fear   of   thunder   that   plagued   her   one   again,   or   perhaps   another   life   something   tragic   occurred   that   filled   the   young   blonde   with   such   dread.

          she   herself   didn’t    have   a   huge   appetite,   but   the   portions   that   she   fixed   were   quite   impressive   as   her   home   proved   to   be   a   revolving   door   of   lost   &   wandering   strays.   not   that   mami   minded,   her   existence   was   a   lonely   one.
