Ok, this summer heat wave has really switched on the Rose/White madness on me... A trip to my regular bio/organic/fairtrade supermarkt yielded: #Garnacha (#grenache) to the left and #Verdejo (no clue how to translate that one) to the left. Looks like #ParraJimenez are a well consolidated winefamily at #LaManchaWines. Lots of medals at the shelf and to me seems like a fantastic cost-quality choice!! The #tempranillo from them i have featured a while back, very very good!! A regular at my stash... The verdejo has TONS of ripe nectarines, yellow apples, a bit floral, wonderful acidity, aftertaste of more stone fruit, green olives, metallic here and there... and lovely oily texture... VERY good white wine! So far 2-0 for ParraJimenez! Soon to come: lets see if La Mancha can compete with my fav in Garnacha handling (Priorat-Catalunya of course!!)...
