also, have you ever read little black bird by anna kirchner? it was published in english but it’s set in poland and the author is polish. the mc is ace (as is anna herself) & there are other lgbt identities represented in the side characters. it’s a fun read!!!

top five atla:

1. sokka

i literally adore how at first he was immature and sexist but realizes just how wrong he was and actively does something against his past mindset. not to mention that even though he can’t bend, he resourcefully goes out of his way to pursue martial arts and practically the whole STEM curriculum.

2. zuko

we stan character development in this house. he’s so awkward and flawed and really tries to set things right and gain the gaang’s trust and even faces against his own family for what’s right and hello i have heart eyes

3. toph

she’ll destroy you without even needing to glance in your direction... oh wait

4. azula

i think i have a thing for powerful flawed characters and, i’m not gonna lie, i see a little of myself in her. she just wants recognition and acceptance and will do anything to get it, even if it means burning everyone in her path to get there.

5. katara

pretty much azula’s foil and vice versa. she’s so powerful and literally a self taught waterbending legend,, invented bloodbending idc idc

top five hp: [this was so hard to pick just five oh my god]

1. fred weasley

lives rent free in my head 24/7. literal love of my life no i will not elaborate okay you know what maybe i will; he’s so lively and boisterous and all over the place and wanted nothing more than to chase his dreams with his brother and he deserved so much more than he got. i love him and i don’t think i’ll ever stop.

2. sirius black

news at fucking eleven: he also deserved better. felt personally disrespected at his storyline. i haven’t watched it but i think the film the godfather was about him, it’s only right bc he’s the godfather. tried to give harry everything and more. was taken too soon i literally yeeted ootp across a soccer field when i came around to it. luscious hair, 10 out of 10.

3. george weasley

underrated golden retriever boy who plays the drums and keeps his hair long idc it’s canon now. i want to give him the world and the biggest hug and hold on moments by one direction just played on shuffle and now i’m in my feels,, george fucking weasley is another contender for the show i wrote, produced, and directed: deserves better.

4. lily evans

she is the mother i’ve never had. she is the sister everybody would want. she is the friend that everybody deserves. i don’t know a better person.

5. minerva mcgonagall

she wasn’t named after the roman goddess of wisdom, the roman goddess of wisdom was named after her. can transform into a cat. outlived practically fucking everyone. “i wonder how you expect to gain an idea of my usual teaching methods if you continue to interrupt me? you see, i do not generally permit people to talk when i am talking.” absolute icon. bless her soul may she live forever.
