It's time for the second wave of these guys so they can pupate before winter. This one is helpfully already on the patch of bronze fennel that I deliberately planted for them. I had to move three others off the dill (mine all mine) in back already. Pretty sure wildlife got all the spring worms so we'll see if the fall ones make it.

Caterpillar development - how fun it is to watch as this little guy slowly grows and develops. Known as the #blackswallowtail #caterpillar, after a few more stages of growth, this "#parsleyworm" will eventually become the #easternblackswallowtail #butterfly.
