“Strength type huh? Come at me then big boy!”
Aasira gestured Roja to take the first move; Roja however just seemed to watch with a stern gaze.
“What’s the matter big boy? Lizard got your tongue?”
Aasira kept teasing Roja, unsure as to why he was not moving from his spot. Everyone else watched him in confusion.
“What’s with him? He’s supposed to be aggressive yet he’s just-”
Everyone was suddenly caught off guard as Roja held the bottom of the halberd in his right hand and threw the top half towards Aasira, the body became chain-like with the top transforming into a hook.
“That’s new”
Virus spoke up and watched as Aasira moved to the side, twirling her sword slowly.
“Range and melee type, not so bad”
Roja grinned and yanked on the chain, the top end hurling towards Aasira with a flick of his wrist.
“You underestimate me!”
Aasira took a quick glimpse at the movement of the hook and moved to the side before raising her right leg and slamming it down on the hook to pin it to the ground.
“And you underestimate me big boy”
Roja was about to yank the chain back in hopes to trip Aasira, but instead she stabs her sword into one of the chain links with force before running towards Roja.
“What can you do when your weapon is disabled?”
Roja kept his right grip on the chain before swinging punches and even a powerful tail swing at Aasira all while trying to get his weapon free.
“Stop, you’re a strong warrior and I can see it from just that”
Aasira stopped and approached to take her sword, making Roja pull back with weapon with a proud smirk.
“Good to see the lady knows what is right and wrong”
Aasira rolled her eyes at Roja before shooing him back to the others.
“You all have potential, even those I have not tested; but main focus we should all do is to get on the same level of defence and offense; utilising both to your advantage just like the environment and even your opponents”
Everyone took heed of Aasira’s words; she knew what she meant and what she was doing. Everyone heeds her words despite everyone’s conflicting personalities.
“You really think we can? Not that I am doubting this-”
Aasira’s gaze immediately looked to Char and gave a strangely warm smile.
“Warriors are not just the men and woman who look strong and bulky. Warriors are those with spirit, passion, a goal and a drive to it. You seem to have potential but the lack of a drive…”
Char blinked in confusion, how could she not have a drive to go by; but then she realised that Aasira was right. Char didn’t exactly have anything she wanted to fight for or protect in the slightest which made her uneasy.
“I wish I had one…”
Aasira raised an eyebrow before giving a soft snort.
