According to my calculations, I have been awake for the past 43 hours, over 13 of which have been devoted to watching Avatar the the Last Airbender.
Throughout this whole experience, I have not once felt tired.
Currently, I don't feel tired. The closest thing I feel is drunk tired. But it's not even that. I feel high tired. I feel high-as-balls tired.
My vision is slightly askew, and I everything seems somewhat jittery and motionful. I have a strange tinnitus-like sound that comes in and out of hearing. It's like that weird "boing" sound effect that comes when Aang dances, except stretched out, and filtered all alien-like. Also, I everything I narrate or think in my head comes out as either one or a combination of the voices of the characters in Avatar.
Ah, and my mind feels kind of hined too. Yes.
As I watch the team, the "Fearsome Foursome" of Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph, I realized, yes, here are the struggles they face. I realized something about the way they work together. Here is how they work:
Each member of the team has had its own difficulties. Each member, though human and able to interact with each other to some degree, has a slightly different denominator. Yes, I realized that the whole team is really just one giant PARTIAL FRACTION PROBLEM. In order for the team to function welll, and to effect the total change they wish to see, they need to see that they are just manipulated pieces of one larger function. Then, when all the parts of the fractions have been mulitpiled and simplified, the whole avatar team can be combined to mesh as one, and the integration can take place. I, too, Katara, believe that someday, Aang will change the world.
