The research investigates processes of education, participation and empowerment in ordinary landscapes, focus on recent experiences in Copenhagen. Its goal is to define the possible role of the landscape architect in these processes without beeing reduced to a mere facilitator. What does it mean to create devices for engagement of the inhabitants and to define a common language?
The complexity of the current crisis, which concerns economy, landscape and environment, forces us to activate more complex strategies and resources. The dynamic and processual character of the landscape, create the opportunity to link individual and collective resources and to begin practices of care and empowering in everyday landscapes.
