Mycroft's reaction to making his SO crying during a casual fight (all couples have fights sometimes)

A cross between alarm and suspicion as this is not a normal show of behavior for minor things like this.

Mycroft can understand crying for something truly upsetting like a big blow out, something that he forgot (not likely) or something her wasn’t present for (more likely) but to do so that casually sends up warning bells that something is wrong.

He would most likely try to get her to talk about it to see if its any of the usual suspects (past abuse, anxiety, depression, hormonal imbalances, etc.) and see how they can manage it from there.

Couples fighting is a normal thing as it helps them grow together but when it ends in tears even over the minor ones it cannot stand.

Hey Oz how would you describe your perfect partner?

Despite answering this question a few times in different ways, like this and this. I was simply going to leave it that but I feel like replying and avoiding other responsibilities.

So here's my rant.

I will start off by saying that idea of "perfect" doesn't exist. Unless you are using a ruler to draw a straight line or measurements, but something as subjective as "perfect partner" to me is just what I find "ideal." Perfection is such a silly adjective when it comes to people because, as Osgood says at the end of Some Like It Hot, "Well, nobody's perfect." You need to accept a person for, not only their superficial appearance, but also their flaws and quirks.

That isn't to say that there isn't room for growth and fulfilling desires/goals.

People seeking "perfect" are the one who bought their rose-colored glasses from a dollar store rather than getting prescription ones to see things clearly.

However, and this may sound contradictory, perfect is subjective. It is when you look at your partner, seeing their outward and inner beauty, recognizing their flaws, smile at their quirks, tolerate the volume of their snoring, not taking out the trash bin to the curb, forgetting to change the toilet roll, and accepting them. Perfect is when you are looking at them and just simply knowing you two (or however many partners) made the right choice or happy that you are still growing to learn this person(s).

Now, to answer your question, I don't know how to answer it simply. Perfect will come when I look at my partner(s) and see them for who they are and what they mean to me. I would imagine it would hard to describe but will be something we share and know.
