Hi! I'm Back!

For those of you who are still with me (or those of you who have stumbled upon this on accident): I think I'm back! My personal and work life exploded this summer. Long story short: I took over the lead position at my clinic, after just 3 of were running a 6.5 person show. When I receive the lead position, one of the other 3 got a job she had applied for last fall, and the other one was a 60 year old man, who couldn't deal with a 30 year old female getting the supervisor position over him. So he left. For most of June and July I was the sole crisis responder, mental health therapist, hospital coordinator, and supervisor to a mental health agency that on average sees about 600 clients a year in a rural county. So that became a literal 25/7 job. I successfully recruited a whole new team of therapists (I hired 6 people in 6 weeks) and have been busy training and supporting them. Meantime, my partner of 5 years and I got engaged, my bestfriend/cousin had a baby after trying for 5 years, and our great-grandmother (who was the matriarch, role model, and compass for my family) passed away after a long battle with heart failure and dementia (she was 97, so she was kind of a badass). Things have been wild.
