My favorite Disney character has always been Ariel, for as long as I can remember. I think part of my love for her (as a kid, anyway) was because she's a mermaid, and mermaids are cool. :P But now that I'm an adult, I realize just how much I'm like her...I've been put under strict rules my whole life, and I just want to be part of something more, I want to break free and be my own person...I don't know if I like Ariel because I'm like that, or if I'm like that because I like Ariel. So yeah. :)

:) I love Ariel too and I definitely lived under restrictions at home and wanted to break free
