Day 3 & 4
After 2 days of beautiful sunny weather which I definitely took advantage of and saw a lot of places in Vienna, I woke up to a rainy morning, not that I am complaining as rains make me happy!! So a happy me enjoyed a lazy morning at home and headed to the city in the afternoon. For lunch I met up with my uncle at a friend’s pizzeria (Il Sole) and we had a couple of superb pizzas. Trivia- Most pizzerias in Austria are owned and run by us desis (Indians ) which was a little surprising. Apparently only the fine dining restaurants are run by Italians. We are everywhere! The plan for the evening was a night out with my cousins and what a night it was. After a lovely dinner for Vietnamese Pho, went to a couple of clubs. The first one was a hip hop club and was ok but the other one was a Latino club (Donzone) and we salsa’d our night away.. The next day was also overcast and was spent on shopping mostly at Mariahilfer strasse. The best shopping street it Vienna. Got some good deals on shoes and clothes.
