Am I a polyglot if I have two mother-tongues and I speak/learn 3 other languages on the side or do I have to learn 5(+2) to be able to call myself a polyglot? ☺️ Om du vill ha någon att snacka svenska med eller behöver hjälp med svenskan så är det bara att skicka ett meddelande till mig! Ah the good old “What defines a polyglot” debate.
Personally, I would consider you a polyglot. My personal definition of a polyglot is anyone that can speak 4+ languages with reasonable proficiency (maybe not fluent, but able to understand a good amount). That is regardless of how many mother tongues one claims.
