THE HORRIBLES
The Horribles. Drake Rogers - vox Justin Stabler - guitar/ backup vox Yusuf Elshihibi - sticks/ backup vox Matt Hamner - bass Joe Hunter - guitar THE HORRIBLES first started in the beginning of 2012 when Drake Rogers and Matt Hamner wanted to bring punk rock into the local Pasco county music scene so they started throwing around ideas and talking to people about starting a band. Drake came across Justin Stabler who was originally trying out for drums but had a heart for guitar. Justin said he had someone who might be interested in playing drums. Yusuf Elshihibi, almost a life long friend of Justin and Drake came and played thus Justin moved to playing guitar and Matt moved on to play bass guitar... THE HORRIBLES WERE BORN! We started out playing a few different covers to get the feel for each other with covers from Pennywise, The Misfits, and The Rabble. Then jumped into writing originals soon after, a mixture of street and hardcore political punk rock! Joe Hunter, also a life long friend of the members of the band, started jamming with The Horribles. Then about six months in The Horribles played there first show, then due to school and family obligations Joe had to go on indefinite hiatis. Even with the setback The Horribles started playing shows one after another, they didn't bother looking for a replacement guitar player, just patiently waited for the return of Joe, and finally about three months later Joe made his comeback. The Horribles are ready to bring chaos to the bars and streets of New Port Richey and anywhere else that will have them play. BE READY!
