picdump from last night's annual @bigmavericks #napavalley #bottleshare ... WOTN for me was 88 @springmountainvineyard followed closely by the 91 @caymuscab SS. The 97 Unfiltered was interesting, considering it was easily the most supermarket pedestrian wine here. The progression in @closduval 74-08-16 was pretty shocking, @redcapvineyards represented Howell mountain I'm pretty sure exclusively and did so with its usual aplomb. 92 #riesling was FIRE and a @sommselect offering. The @arcadian_winery had to share the spotlight with an @anthillfarms as the only two pinots present, and the @qupewine was the sole syrah and really stood out in this lineup of almost solid #napacab and then somebody snuck in with a #pasocab from @dustynaborwines .... this is definitely a time when you need more than 10 photos on Instagram.
