We had a sweet week, so this one is mostly about savoury breakfasts. There are recipes that I know from cafes, but never tried at home. This paasata beans are one of them. The cool thing is, that it's easy to make. The other - it tastes amazing on a toast. There are no bad things.
I found the recipe on Olive Magazine and it looked too good not to make.
You will need:
onion
olive oil
pinch of chilli flakes
200ml passata
cannellini beans, 400g tin
handful parsley
sourdough bread
Chop the onion, heat your pan with an olive oil over a medium heat and start to fry onion. When it gets glassy, add chili flakes and passata. Let it cook for about 5 minutes. Add drained beans and cook for another 5 minutes.
Chop parsley, mix it with beans and serve on toasted sourdough slice.
