SS Chicora
Great lakes passenger steamer - Launched June 26th, 1892 - Considered a masterpiece of a great lakes steamer and the flagship of the Graham and Morton Line - Sent out for a late winter shipment of flour from Milwaukee only to be caught in a winter storm. She sank in Lake Michigan on January 21st, 1895. 21 crew and a single passenger went down with her. To this day, her wreckage has never been found with the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum considering her a “Most Wanted” vessel
