heres my definitely not very late piece for the day one prompt ( pride month/identities ) for the @june-doe-event

i have no clue if im going to be able to get any of the other prompts done due to exams but we will see :3

Passionfruit Jam

This delicious Passionfruit Jam is worth making yourself: it only takes a few ingredients and a few minutes; and it is a taste of Paradise on your morning toasts!

Ingredients (makes a small jar):

6 large ripe passionfruits

1/2 cup caster sugar

1 heaped tablespoon Manuka Honey

Cover a jam jar and lid with boiling water in a  pot, cover with the lid and boil, 10 minutes.

Halve passionfruits, and scoop out their pulp into a medium saucepan. You should have at least a cup. Bring to a slow boil over medium-high heat. Stir in sugar, until dissolved. Add 6 of the empty halves of passionfruit shells; they are full of pectin and will help the jam set. Reduce heat to medium, and simmer, 10 minutes, stirring occasionally until mixture thickens and turns a slightly darker colour. Carefully remove passionfruit shells, scooping out the hot jam into the saucepan. Stir in Manuka Honey. Boil, a couple of minutes more.

Carefully remove and dry jar and lid from the pot; spoon hot Passionfruit Jam into it. Close tightly and return filled jar to the pot of boiling water, making sure it is immersed. Boil, covered, 10 minutes. Remove lid and let cool before removing jar from the pot. Let cool completely. 

Store Passionfruit Jam in a cool, dark place until using, and then up to a month in the refrigerator once opened.
