       A-Ah…..He screwed up and stared a bit….too long. Was this guy going to hit him? He seemed like the type, especially with that horrid way of speaking to absolute strangers. Still…Haru needed to find his way back and this was the only guy around. Hopefully he could at least point him in the right direction…? Hopefully.

       “I ah….um. I am lost. Could you tell me where we are…?” Haru really needed to work on that staring thing.

It wasn’t particularly often that Cain encountered people that were so lost in this way. His nature wasn’t exactly the helping type when it came down to it, especially not when it came down to relative strangers. Of course he would be willing to help if he gained something from it, there was no question of that.

“Huh, you must be fucking lost if you don’t even know where you are. What’s in it for me if I tell you?” the dark haired male smirked, unable to resist the lure of teasing the other male.

In My Fishbowl - rp w/ passivedolphinchan

Makoto set down his groceries and pulled out the can of mackerel, opening it and taking a bit out to put some food in a tiny, doll sized bowl. He pulled out the doll bathtub he bought, and brought it to his room, setting it down next to the fish bowl on his desk.

He watched the tiny, almost goldfish sized mermaid he had swim.

Makoto wasn’t sure what kind of karma led him to this mermaid, but he remembered walking home one day from school to find a plastic bag moving erratically on the shore of the river. When he’d checked the contents, he’d found a beautiful, palm sized mermaid, tail as blue as the water in the river, and eyes to match. It unfortunately had a little fish hook on its tail, so he had taken it home and set up his old fish bowl, nursing it back to health.

The scar that was on the mermaid’s tail wasn’t completely healed yet, and Makoto just enjoyed the little circles and tumbles that the mermaid performed. “Haru,” he said gently, carefully sticking his fingers in the water so the mermaid could cling on, so he could set him down in the little tub and give him his doll sized bowl of mackerel. He needed to clean the fish bowl.

He wasn’t sure of the mermaid’s name, instead choosing to name it after the season he’d found him. Makoto carefully cradled the mermaid in his palm, giving his head a gentle scratch, before setting him in the doll tub of water, and giving him the mackerel. “I’ll be right back, Haru,” he said. “I’m going to clean your fish bowl.”

Makoto picked up the fish bowl, smiling at the way Haru’s eyes seemed to communicate with him.

The Usual, Please;;

[;;      Life was getting much harder under the new leader.

The oldest son of the Matsuoka family had risen to power after his father passed away last month. Sousuke’s former Boss was as kind as a man with that much power could be. While he was vicious and cruel, ruling the city with an iron fist and little tolerance for those who disobeyed him, he still treated the family with kindness and respect.

His oldest son lacked those qualities. 

Things were so bad that there was already talk of an assassination so the next Matsuoka son, his best friend Rin, could come into power. Everyone loved and adored Rin, because he was smart and had the same qualities of his father. Even at his young age, Rin would have made his father proud if he took over the family. 

Though Sousuke would have loved answering to Rin and calling him Boss, he held his tongue and walked away anytime the idea was brought to life with whispers among the others he worked with.

Those conspiring against the new Boss were found out and killed within the week of their planning. Two of those put to death were close friends of his, and it was rather difficult to deal with.

He hadn't visited the bakery in three days due to him mourning his friends. During the days of his absence, Sousuke wondered if the young man who took his usual order noticed he hadn’t been coming in. What if he wasn’t in today? Though he was usually there everyday from what Sou could remember. . . Maybe none of it mattered.

The bell that hung in front of the door gave a small jingle of warning as he entered the bakery. It was a quaint little shop, that make it’s bread fresh daily and served coffee in the morning to those getting ready for a long day of work.

Nanase was there. Sousuke’s eyes darted to the floor as he took off his hat and placed it on the counter, before taking a seat on one of the bar stools. 

      “The usual..” he mumbled, voice unusually quiet. He’d been seeing Nanase nearly every day for the past year. On some occasions, his coffee and pastry were already waiting for him. For some reason, Sousuke felt-- nervous? Embarrassed? Guilty?

He couldn’t really pin point it. . .       ;;]

Haru stared at the interested looking man with interesting looking glasses on, completely confused as to where he was. He didn't say a word however because Haru didn't want to admit that he was horrid with directions.

Practice had gone much later than Miyuki had expected, but that wasn’t really out of the ordinary. As he made his way back towards the street, he noticed the strange boy. “Can I help you?” Miyuki had never seen the rather bored looking boy before. But, he could only assume that the boy was lost. “Are you lost or something?”

I’ll try to dedicate Saturdays to roleplaying from now on but please please try to understand that uni is still unfamiliar and slightly scary for me^^; I love you all!

Rin sat on the plane staring out the window as he landed in Tokyo for the first time in almost a year. At first..he had been a little reluctant to go home. Australia had become comfortable for him. Swimming in Australia felt like home to Rin in a strange way. It was the place he felt the most comfortable...and yet...there was a part of him that knew something was missing from his swimming there, just as it had been before. 

Haru. 

It had taken him a long time to decide if he wanted to see Haru or not...but it just didn't seem right coming home and not seeing him. They both had been working hard and practicing...Haru in Tokyo and Rin in Australia. He couldn't exactly not see his best friend and rival. The one who made him swim better than anyone else did.

Haru's apartment was his first stop even before going home to his mother and Gou. He needed to see Haru...see if he was doing well. They texted sometimes, but their schedules were so different that often times text were read but not responded to in a timely manner...and Haru had never been good at communicating...not that Rin could really talk in that aspect either.

So here he stood outside of Haru's door...knowing he had to knock to get a response. Knowing Haru the door was probably open and he was probably in the bathtub, but it just didn't seem right waltzing of his own volition after being gone for about a year. Sighing, he knocked on the door, waiting and hoping that Haru was there. Then he could ask for the one thing he wanted more than anything; a race.

Water Eyes // Closed AU passivedolphinchan

It had been an interesting trade; a little bit of extra water in exchange for the boy with the most perfect blue eyes Rin had ever seen. The boy had collapsed in the desert, coming to the Prince with hopes of finding more water for his village. He certainly wasn't the first person to come begging for extra water, but the truth was even as a Prince, there wasn't much Rin could do about the drought. He too, was suffering for lack of water, though he did have more than most. 

But Rin had been unable to refuse the dark haired boy, mostly due to how captivated he was by his beautiful blue eyes. There was a legend in their country...that those with the purest blue eyes had the most capability to draw forth the water from the sky by crying tears from said eyes. No one claimed to believe in the legend, there hadn't really even been talk of it for years until this drought had come along. The legend spoke of a boy with dark hair and bright blue eyes who had called forth the rain, it was said that when another drought came he would be reincarnated and destined to bring water back to the world. As it was rare to have blue eyes in their country, all people with blue eyes were considered to be special, though nowadays no one really believed they could end a drought.

This latest drought however, had been lasting dangerously long. As he was the Prince, the fault of the drought fell on Rin, though there wasn't much he could actually do about it. He'd called upon psychics, magicians, all sort of magic that didn't work. He had asked scholars to offer him advice, none of whom could solve this problem.  In a desperate measure he had hired a few servants with blue green eyes, wondering if just having them around would bring their country good fortune.  Nitori was first, a smaller boy, with bright eyes and grayish hair. He was immediately smitten with the Prince and devoted himself completely to him. The other, Sousuke, was a quiet man with dark hair and blue green eyes. Rin found he grew to enjoy their company almost immediately. The two were very different, yet they both were so devoted to him. There were times when Rin wondered if Sousuke cried...would he be the boy from legend? Probably not, Sousuke didn't show many emotions...so the probability of him actually crying was low...that and Rin didn't really believe in legends...

At least he thought didn't...that was, until he met Haru. The moment Rin saw Haru's eyes...he had to have him...partially because deep down in his heart he wondered if Haru could possibly be the boy of legend...but also because he was also one of the most beautiful people Rin had ever seen. It was clear the boy wasn't happy about the deal that Rin had struck with him. He would provide a bit of extra water to his village and Haru would stay at the palace with him as one of his hired servants.

Escorted by Sousuke, Rin had permitted Haru to return to his home village, allowing him to say goodbye and pick up whatever it was he may have needed from his home...Rin wanted him to be comfortable and happy at the palace.  

Now, Rin sat waiting for their return. It had been quite a few days since they had left and he eagerly awaited the return of his new servant boy. Rin looked forward to showing Haru around...explaining how things worked and all the wonders that he would have available. to him that he had never had before.
