Pascal's dad, he's a retired magician who decided to become a scientist/inventor to help the mayor and his family (Pascal took up the mantle as the entertainer because he loved his dad's magic acts as a kid and wanted to share the same magic to others but in his own way)
His dad is also the person that influenced Melody's interest in science, pretty much acting like a mentor and uncle figure to her too

as for Melody, she's no longer a cursed princess, instead she's the daughter of the mayor of Pascal's home town (i'm thinking both Pascal and Melody's parents would be long time friends, making Pascal and Melody childhood besties), she's sweet, spunky and quick witted, tho a lil stubborn at times
