I am going to write this kindly and in way so that it will be understood by most people. Please have you age listed somewhere on your page if you are going to interact with 18+ and NSFW content and follow 18+ and NSFW accounts. Just because you know that you're an adult does not mean the content creators that you follow or interact with or other people on the internet do.

I used to be a silent reader for years. I understand having that mindset. The "I'm an adult, so I'm safe to interact with this content and follow these creators" mindset. The creators don't know that you're an adult unless you offer that information. I understand now that I am a creator myself, how important having that information available is.

For myself and other creator's safety and mental well-being, we will absolutely block any account that doesn't have their age listed. You don't even have to list your exact age. You can write that your are 18+ or that your are an adult and that is good enough. In our eyes, we can't be too careful and I know that many of us creators have had to block and report people that shouldn't have been interacting with our content or other creator's content.

There is no reason not to have your age listed on your page, unless you are a minor trying to fly under the radar. If you don't know how to change your bio, go to your blog settings on your homepage. I promise you will be able to figure it out. If you can't figure it out on your own, Google "how to change your bio on Tumblr". It will give you step by step instructions on how to.

I apologize because I know that this is not my regular content, but I have recently had an influx of new followers with no age listed anywhere on their page and I have had many reach out to me on my SFW account, saying that they are adults and they don't understand why they were blocked. And I have had explain to them the very thing I explained above.
