9. What's something you always come back to when drawing?

okay so i never post my personal art on here, but it's random shapes. just shapes.

occasionally they infiltrate fanart bc i just couldnt resist drawing a random square or circle in there. why not.

19. Where do you find inspiration?

from scenes i see outside, stories strangers share with me when im commuting or buying from the market...from music, a lot of music...im often told my art is evocative and feels 'alive,' and im happy to hear that. my inspirations are just as alive.

Balancing stupidity and the most baller shit you've ever seen is why I love the series it's like cringe nirvana. It's one of my favorite series of all time and I will Not Stand for UNDERSERVED SLANDER

Hello! I haven't seen many horror movies myself but I *do* want to hear your opinions on them, so! Do you have a favorite subgenre of horror? If so, why? I love folk horror and I love a good ghost story. I love period pieces and supernatural mysteries. I love horror with a bit of action. But more than anything....I love a good classic monster movie, especially a non-traditional take on a traditional story. And if there are werewolves? Just fuck me all the way up. 🤣

Some of my favorites from these categories include (but are not remotely limited to) the following:

Lake Mungo (a deliciously twisty found-footage ghost story)

The Wolf Man (the Benicio Del Toro remake SLAPS ok?)

Dog Soldiers (easily my favorite werewolf movie of all time)

Wer (found footage werewolf movie? yes please!)

Le Pacte des Loups (history and horror in FRENCH)

The 13th Warrior (I will never not watch this movie)

Crimson Peak (period piece horror at its' finest)

Sleepy Hollow (wait no I stand corrected)

The Lost Boys (IT IS A CLASSIC FOR A REASON)

Hellboy (the Ron Perlman version, tyvm)

Trick R Treat (the best Halloween movie ever I WILL NOT BE TAKING QUESTIONS)

Natsuki+kiss!!

Natsuki’s hair is soft and thick. As I run my fingers through his hair I can tell he doesn’t really use any product to style it. Just clean, naturally wavy hair. I liked it. Apparently he liked the attention. His eyes flutter to a close as I sit across his lap with my hands playing in his golden mane. The room is calm as classical music from his collection fills the empty spaces with Baroque strings. I soon fall into the music, timing my strokes with the hills and valleys of the slow melody. One hand glides down the side of Natsuki’s face, brushing the hair from his eyes and resting on his cheek. His eyes open to look at me with heavy lids and a fond smile. I smile in kind. 

His hand finds mine on his face and he loosely wraps his fingers around my hand, bringing my wrist down. There, where the black ink colored my skin he pauses to look at my tattoo. I shift as I follow his focus to it, watching his face carefully. 

“You’re so strong.” He whispers. He traces the shapes with a delicate finger so lightly it nearly tickles. “I’m lucky to have you by my side. It helps me stay strong, too.” Gently, he brings my wrist to his lips, leaving a reverential kiss on the center of the symbol. “I love you.”

Are we appreciating Ren Jinguji? Bc he's not in my top 3 but I just wanna cuddle him and give him some tea and let him rest from people's expectations for a while

in this house we appreciate ren jingucci 24/7 but yeah jokes aside, same here ;; this man’s been so used to having him be judged by his family name first and his own person second. he tends to mock being the son of such a successful conglomerate by maintaining his rebellious and standoffish persona or by coming off as a flirtatious playboy who expects to have you turn into a puddle with a single wink, and even that takes a toll on him. he says he’s simply the third son, that he’s granted no responsibilities to take on the family business, that he’s a tool meant to promote the Jinguji name by being an idol; he says he’s free from expectations but is he really? it’s no wonder why he’s so passionate about his hobbies like photography or why he loves to get lost whenever he travels to new places, he finally gets the escape he’s been looking for.

🌈 Do you use more warm or cold colors?

I definitely tend to use more warm colors in general. I’m always really drawn to yellows and oranges.I try to find a balance between warm and cool but everything has a tendency to be on the warmer side of things~
